Youths charged over drive-offs

THREE youths charged with theft from motor vehicle and petrol drive-off offences have been bailed to appear at the Dandenong Children’s Court in December.
Detective Senior Sergeant Steve Gaskin from the Narre Warren Police Station said police on Friday charged a 16-year-old Cranbourne boy with eight theft from motor vehicle and six petrol drive-off offences.
Police also charged a Tooradin boy, 17, with five theft from motor vehicle and three petrol drive-off offences while another 16-year-old Cranbourne boy was charged with two theft from motor car offences and one petrol drive-off offence.
