AFL GRAND final celebrations are continuing at a Lynbrook aged care facility.
Staff and residents from Eden at Lynbrook celebrated Hawthorn’s grand final victory by donning their football scarves and enjoying a barbecue.
The family-run business, with a passion for aged care and the Hawthorn Football Club, has been operating in Lynbrook since late 2007.
Eden at Lynbrook has four households, each one with a group of 20 residents, named after the four premiership coaches, John Kennedy, Alan Joyce, David Parkin and Allan Jeans.
General manager of Eden in Lynbrook Sarah MacKenzie said her family were fanatical Hawthorn supporters and were looking at opening a new household on the 10-acre property in honour of the 2008 premiership coach Alastair Clarkson.
