BOYS business at Cranbourne Secondary College is helping a group of students stay on track and keep fit.
Eight students are part of the team initiative, which encourages the participants to be creative, flexible and responsible when it comes to dealing with life’s challenges. The group completes a range of activities, including regular visits to the Fitness Shack gymnasium for a workout.
Teacher Jan McAleese said the program encouraged students to be responsible for their own actions.
“The students have to ensure they are on time and ready to participate in the programs,” she said.
“We are finding that by giving the boys role models, they are improving in every aspect of life.”
School guidance officer and adolescent psychologist Jason Crestani is the team leader of the program.
