ALZHEIMER’S is considered to be the most common form of dementia, with the majority of people with dementia living in residential care facilities.
Those who live at home mostly live with family, however carers need external assistance as dementia progresses. The transition to residential care is very difficult for all concerned.
Staff at TLC Aged Care understand and cater for the needs of people living with dementia.
“We ensure our staff are properly trained and resourced for the task at hand,” said TLC Aged Care management.

Located in Hallam, TLC Aged Care residence, Homewood is a luxurious home, designed with the comfort and safety of residents in mind.
Fully accredited with the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency, Homewood primarily caters for high care residents, however a number of low care places are also available.
Experienced and trained staff are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week providing high and low care, long or short-term respite, palliative care and dementia secure care.
Residents enjoy spacious private rooms with ensuite bathrooms and freshly cooked nutritionally balanced meals.
