A MAN was taken to hospital after a cement mixer rolled at Clyde North yesterday morning.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Clyde and Glasscocks Roads at about 7.45am.
Advanced life support paramedics from Beaconsfield and a single responder intensive care paramedic treated the man at the scene.
“Somehow the driver managed to get out of the cement mixer before we arrived,” intensive care paramedic David Llewellyn said.
“He had some back pain, so a neck brace was fitted, given the potential for spinal injuries.”
The 44-year-old Mulgrave man was transported to Dandenong Hospital in a stable condition.
