CRANBOURNE Secondary College students filled the schoolgrounds last Thursday as the school put on a huge lunchtime event to celebrate its youth.
It was the first time the school had celebrated Youth Week.
College wellbeing development officer Sarah Vanis started in the new role at the school this year and decided it was time to put on a celebration for their youth.
She said it had been a fantastic event, with the YMCA, Greenpeace, and the City of Casey youth resource officers attending to provide some information on their services.
“The feedback has been absolutely positive,” Ms Vanis said.
“The courtyard was filled with young people.”
The year seven and year 12 bands provided some musical entertainment in the extended lunch break.
Ms Vanis said the school was already planning to run another one next year.
