SEVERAL senior residents showed no sign of slowing up during a guided walk through the Cranbourne Botanic Gardens last week.
The walk was attended by people enthusiastic about staying active and at the same time learning about a wide range of plants in the gardens.
Qualified instructor Jan Ottrey took participants through their paces and finished off the session with a cool down.
The two-hour session was rounded off with an enjoyable morning tea.
The event was organised to coincide with the popular Ageing Positively Festival organised by the City of Casey.
The wide range of activities forming the program has provided seniors with the opportunity to meet new people and seek information on several different programs.
