Last week, spring fever hit Clyde Primary School when locals hit the flower beds for Spring Gardening Day.
Teacher Kath McCulloch said she was delighted with the numbers who helped out on the day.
“As well as the local Clyde families, we have a large number who come from as far away as Langwarrin, Pakenham, Berwick and Cranbourne,” she said.
“It was great to see parents, preschoolers, grandparents, aunts and uncles and ex-students working side by side with Clyde staff and students to help beautify our school.
“It’s days like these which showcase the community involvement that we encourage at Clyde and instils that sense of pride that we want all our students to have both in our school and in their own achievements.”
