COLOURFUL jewellery, photo album pages and collages were some of the creations made at the City of Casey’s scrapbooking activity last week.
The day was part of Casey’s teenage school holiday program and despite being a new activity on the timetable it was a big success.
City of Casey manager youth services Janette Green said about 40 young people took part in the combined scrapbooking and jewellery making session in Hampton Park.
“Scrapbooking was extremely popular with some great works made,” Ms Green said.
“Many of the young people brought along their own equipment and provided creative tips to the Youth Workers.”
The kids’ pets featured among photos brought along for the scrapbooks as well as other significant items.
The teens were at no loss for things to do and make with jewellery another option to the scrapbooks, collages and pages for photo albums.
