Monsters of music and machines on show

MASSIVE monster trucks and eight-time Golden Guitar winner Adam Brand are set to shake up Cranbourne this Sunday.
Mr Brand’s high-octane live performance will complement the ground-pounding, earth-shaking six-tonne monsters at the Monster Truck Show at the Cranbourne Racecourse.
The show is set to be a night of total destruction with no less than five monster trucks, including the new Warner Brothers Batman truck.
Between them the trucks will crush cars, shake the earth and soar high off the ground as they employ all their respective 2500 horsepower to wow the fans.
It is not only the monster trucks that will steal the show, with two fire-breathing jet vans that will literally melt down an innocent road car into molten metal.
The Demons of Dirt Freestyle Motocross riders will also put on a breathtaking display with their vast array of jumps and stunts.
Other features include motorcycle and car stunts and two spectacular fireworks displays from pyrotechnic gurus KC’s Fireworks.
Mr Brand said he was excited about playing in Cranbourne for the first time.
“The combination of country music fans and motorsport enthusiasts is one you can’t beat,” he said.
“It’s a show for fans of all ages. It doesn’t matter if you’re three years old or 93, you’ll come away from this agreeing it was an awesome night.”
Gates open at 3pm and the action starts at 6pm.
Ticket prices are $35 adults, students aged 12 to 15 $20, children aged three to 12 $15 and grandstand seating $10.
To purchase tickets online or for more information visit www.monstertrucks.com.au or call the Monster Hotline on 0417 724 941.
