A NARRE Warren man was taken to hospital after a collision at the notorious intersection of Hallam and Pound Roads in Hampton Park last week.
Police said the incident occurred about 1.10pm on Thursday when a Ford sedan turning right into Pound Road and a Holden Commodore travelling into Hampton Park on Hallam Road collided.
The driver of the Commodore, a Berwick man, escaped uninjured while his passenger was taken to Dandenong Hospital suffering chest pains.
The driver of the Ford, a Cranbourne woman, also escaped unharmed.
Cranbourne Police Constable Trevor Bush said the driver of the Ford was issued with an infringement notice for various traffic offences.
He warned drivers to pay attention at the intersection and check for clear passage before turning.
“Drivers need to take more care and make sure the road is clear before you go,” he said.
