LOCALS are encouraged to donate a gift to needy children this Christmas.
The mayor, Salvation Army, Santa and local school students showed their support at the launch of the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal at Cranbourne.
With the country’s largest Christmas gift appeal, Kmart hopes to collect more than 2000 gifts at its Cranbourne store and 360,000 nationally.
Locals made sure the message was clear at the launch and also helped celebrate the appeal’s 20th year. Since it started the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal has collected more than 3.75 million gifts for people in need.
Come down to Kmart at the Centro Cranbourne Shopping Centre in time for Christmas.
