CHILDREN had a blast at Cranbourne Library last week.
Kicking off the school holiday events at the library, 20 youngsters from three to six years old took part in a Blast Off event.
The kids listened to exciting space stories and rhymes.
They then got creative making their own rockets.
Community engagement librarian Cenza Fulco said the kids came up with some fantastic creations.
“They were really excited and they had a great time. The parents also joined them,” she said.
Ms Fulco said it was a good session and started off a busy two weeks.
“It was a very exciting start to the school holidays. They loved the space stories and then they finished off with a craft activity. It was great fun.”
