STUDENTS at Cranbourne South Primary School attempted to break the world record for tunnel ball during Education Week.
The effort was coordinated by graduate teacher Gavin Balzary, who hatched the idea to break the record of 80, set by Berwick Lodge Primary School in 2006.
Students from prep to grade six teamed up to pass a ball over their heads and then under their legs, then ran to the front of the line to keep the process going.
The successful attempt was part of the school’s Go For Your Life program, which encourages students to get off the couch and get active in their spare time.
