HAMPTON Park Primary School students rocked to the beat of the boys in blue when the Victoria Police Band came to visit last week.
The visit was part of the Police in Schools program, which is aimed at strengthening ties between police and the community.
Teachers joined in the excitement, entertaining students with a special performance of Nut Bush.
The band was also greeted by Police Minister Tim Holding, who was at the school to discuss planning issues with principal Christine Wakeling.
