STUDENTS from Devon Meadows Primary School launched a ‘mock’ investigation at Cranbourne’s Botanic Gardens on Tuesday in the hunt for animal evidence.
Grade five and six students went on the excursion as part of their crime scene investigation studies.
A spokesperson for the school said the students had traced animal droppings, burrows and scratchings on trees as part of their investigations.
She said some of the students had also attended the gardens on Monday to plant trees as part of their environmental studies.
