Help put out the fires

We want you! Devon Meadows CFA is looking for volunteers.
DEVON Meadows Fire Brigade is looking for people with a burning desire to help the community in times of emergency.
The brigade, which attends more than 100 fires and emergencies each year, is seeking volunteers to serve the Devon Meadows and Cannons Creek communities.
The CFA unit wants to recruit local residents who may be early retirees, people who work from home and shift workers.
Apart from attending fires and other emergencies, volunteers are involved in many other activities including brigade management, fundraising, fire prevention, community education and maintenance of equipment.
Potential recruits will be able to find out how they can make a difference to their local community at the brigade’s open day on Sunday, 19 August.
The open day will run from 10am to 2 pm at Devon Meadows fire station, Finsbury Road, Devon Meadows.
For more information email caseyrecruits@cfa.vic.gov.au or phone Andrew Swain on 0413283416.
