HAMPTON Park Library was buzzing with noise and excitement as kids packed the place for the popular Move and Groove Show.
The Carp Productions performance encouraged 43 youngsters to come along to the library’s holiday activity last Friday.
Branch manager Kathie Olden said the noise from the performance rang throughout the centre as children and parents got involved in the activities run by the small theatre group.
“They were great – really high energy,” she said.
“There’s only two people in the theatre group but you would swear there were at least 10 with all the costumes they come out in.”
Ms Olden said the theatrical duo was great, encouraging kids to get involved in the show, always brought the importance of books and reading into the performance.
The event at the library was the first of the Casey-Cardinia Library Corporation’s holiday program focusing on fantasy and dragons.
