STAFF at a Cranbourne bank have helped raise awareness and money for the local community.
ANZ Blue Week ran all last week and was part of a national initiative to promote worthy causes in the area.
As well as the week’s array of community awareness activities, the Cranbourne branch also ran a financial planning charity raffle.
The winners will receive a Bluey the Blue Heeler hamper – Bluey is the new mascot – which contains a plush blue heeler toy dog and an assortment of gourmet food.
ANZ financial planning general manager Mike Goodall said the raffles were the bank’s way of thanking customers and showing support for the local community.
This was the first year ANZ held the event across its retail branch network.
ANZ financial planners also celebrated Blue Week with the help of Bluey.
Mr Goodall said the blue heeler encapsulated the quintessential Australian values of friendship, loyalty and support.
“ANZ Blue Week is all about helping our local communities and their charities, so the blue heeler is an ideal mascot,” Mr Goodall said.
