THE recently developed Casey Fields showed it is able to host more than just sport when residents celebrated Australia Day there last week.
Jumping castles, a bungee run, sausage sizzles and fishing events were all part of the action as locals enjoyed the pleasant weather to get outdoors.
Cranbourne Football Club officials used the fun day to promote their club and attract new supporters for the 2007 season.
Children and adults also served up a storm as they took to the tennis courts and had a free hit.
The Cranbourne event was just one of the many specially organised Casey functions celebrating Australia Day throughout the city.
