Scorching heat stopped the crowd at Cranbourne Racecourse from swelling to record numbers on Sunday, but those who attended Tricodes Day were kept well entertained with 23 races over five hours. Racing, pacing and chasing were the order of the day on the track, but News photographer Stewart Chambers was on hand to capture all the action on the other side of the fence.
