CRANBOURNE estate The Hunt Club is offering local groups the opportunity to share in more than $12,000 in grants.
Local community groups are encouraged to apply for The Hunt Club 2007 Community Fund, which will provide grants of $500 or $1000 to local not-for-profit groups to fund projects that benefit the local community.
Dennis Family Corporation state operations manager Paul Möller said the grants could be used for anything from purchasing items such as new uniforms, playground or sports equipment to structural improvements, books, training, food, blankets or events linked to services provided by the group.
“The Community Fund is a fantastic way of making our local community stronger and recognising the invaluable work of local groups by funding projects that might not otherwise have been possible without the help of this financial support,” he said.
Applications close on Friday 14 September.
