HUNDREDS braved the cold weather to take part in Bluey Day celebrations on Saturday.
Kids flocked to Bunnings Warehouse in Cranbourne to enjoy face painting, fairy floss, a live band, clowns and a sausage sizzle for the police and emergency services fundraiser for children with cancer and other lifethreatening illnesses.
Organiser Kathy Scott said the store raised more than $2800 through Saturday’s activities and a recent trivia night.
“We didn’t do a head shave this year because there was one huge one organised in the city.
“However, the day was a real success and everyone enjoyed themselves despite the weather,” she said.
