RESIDENTS of Botanic Ridge, the newest residential address in the City of Casey, celebrated the unveiling of a sculpture at the entrance to their suburb on Monday morning.
Botanica was unveiled at the Pearcedale Road entrance to Botanic Ridge by Casey mayor Janet Halsall and Balla Balla Ward councillor Colin Butler.
The four metre-tall sculpture, crafted by renowned Victorian artist Rudi Jass, features silver leaves that sprout from a rustic metal base.
The sculpture is said to set an ‘artistic tone’ at the Pearcedale Road entrance to Botanic Ridge and is expected to become a fitting focal point for residents, friends, family and visitors to the new suburb.
