A TOORADIN resident has won the holiday of a lifetime.
Ainsley Gillies, 25, won an all expenses-paid trip to Disneyland in California.
Ms Gillies was notified of her win last week and said she was thrilled at the fact she had won.
“I was dancing around the house in my pyjamas,” she said.
Ms Gillies travelled to the United States about three or four years ago.
“I thought I was in Disneyland but later realised I was in the park next door, so I’m looking forward to seeing the real Disneyland,” she said.
After entering a competition at Melbourne 360, the observation deck at the Rialto, Ms Gillies was one of three lucky people to win the prize.
The prize, valued at about $10, 000 includes return airfares, accommodation at the Anaheim Hilton, five days’ entry to Disneyland and all transfers.
“It’s such a surreal moment, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” Ms Gillies said.
Ms Gillies was presented with her prize last week by the general manager of the Rialto observation deck.
“At times I think to myself ‘this isn’t real, you’ll wake up soon,’ but it is real,” she said. “My heart just races – I’m going to Disneyland!”
