A MAN has been robbed and assaulted in Cranbourne North while on his way to work.
The incident occurred about 2.30pm on Woodbine Road as the man was walking to Cranbourne’s Safeway.
Police said the victim was approached by two men who demanded he hand over his iPod.
The victim then attempted to run away, but the men chased him and pushed him to the ground, punching him several times.
Police said the victim suffered swelling to his jaw and right eye.
