THIEVES raided a Bridgestone Tyre Centre in Cranbourne, taking cash and a rare set of wheels.
A police spokesman said the incident took place in the early hours of Monday 2 June after thieves smashed a glass panel on the front door of the High Street store.
“Offenders have then entered the premises and jemmied open the cash register and stolen $350,” he said.
Three 19-inch Antra gunmetal grey rims were also stolen.
“The rims are new to the market and are not very common,” the police spokesman said.
Anyone with any information about the crime is asked to contact the Casey Criminal Investigation Unit on 5991 0668.
