Man stabbed in road rage incident

POLICE investigating a road rage stabbing in Lyndhurst have charged a man with intentionally causing serious injury.
A 52-year-old Aspendale Gardens man is recovering in The Alfred hospital from what police said were serious injuries after he was stabbed several times in the back, hand and face on Saturday night.
The incident, involving another driver, happened at the intersection of Taylors and Thompsons roads, Lyndhurst, just before midnight.
Police said the man’s wife was still in the car when she witnessed her husband being stabbed.
Police have arrested 20-year-old Lawson Odslum from Cranbourne and charged him with intentionally causing serious injury, threatening to kill, and other weapons-related charges.
He has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later this week.
