PARENTS of Courtenay Gardens Primary School students swapped spots with their children on Wednesday to celebrate Education Week.
See for Yourself Day, an initiative of the school’s education committee, gave parents the opportunity toget inside the classroom and experience the daily routine of a primary school classroom.
School spokeswoman Monique Green said the parents and students thoroughly enjoyed the concept.
“It’s the second year we’ve run the program and everyone loves it,” she said.
“Parents don’t get an opportunity to see first-hand what’s happening inside the classroom, what primary school is all about and the curriculum we cover.”
“The students love having their mums and dads come in too,” Ms Green said.
