THE POND at Blind Bight Foreshore has received a rejuvenation.
Volunteers got a little sand on their hands in a joint venture between the Blind Bight Foreshore Advisory Committee and Blind Bight Boat Owner’s Association to clean up the pond and lay down a new beach.
The work came about with a donation of washed sand from Cranbourne Sand and Soil.
The Blind Bight Foreshore project was the first undertaken by the committee, which has been established to preserve and maintain the foreshore area.
Blind Bight Foreshore Advisory Committee welcomes suggestions for the care of the foreshore and can be contacted via email at blindbightfac@gmail.com.au.
