Young chefs cook up a storm

PEARCEDALE children have learnt some healthy eating habits hands on in Healthy Little Chefs cooking classes at Pearcedale Community Centre.
Children aged four and above were able to participate in the cooking classes, which ran every day this week.
Kids could participate in morning tea and lunchtime classes.
They learnt how to make healthy meals, which they prepared for themselves and were able to eat afterwards or take home.
Parents and carers were also welcome to stay and help.
The meals included all sorts of healthy alternatives but a popular favourite was the nutritious and delicious homemade tacos.
