Parents get safe advice

CASEY parents have been invited to join the SafeStart network, a Casey Council initiative to reduce childhood injuries amongst children aged up to eight.
City of Casey community safety manager Caroline Bell said each day in Victoria about 126 children visited an emergency department because of an injury.
“Membership to the website will link members by email or post to the SafeStart project, ensuring they receive regular updates about current child safety issues, education sessions and upcoming events for families,” Ms Bell said. “It will also allow members access to the latest child safety resources and information, and allow parents to chat and exchange advice with fellow parents.”
