Handbag raid foiled

A HAMPTON Park woman confronted a man stealing her handbag from a caravan parked in the driveway.
The 37-year-old woman confronted the man after she saw him breaking into the caravan parked in Robjant Street, Hampton Park.
The man then dropped the bag, a pink purse, and ran off down the street.
The incident happened at 8.30am on 31 August.
Nothing was taken.
The offender was described about 25, Caucasian, with brown hair, fair complexion and medium build.
