PEOPLE with a disability who want to test their skills at basketball can do so now.
The City of Casey Access for All Abilities Program and Merinda Park Basketball Club are inviting people with a disability aged 16 and over to join a fun basketball competition.
One competition each will be held for men and women.
Casey arts and leisure manager Robyn Bowen said the basketball competition was a great way to meet new people and get physical at the same time.
“It’s a fun competition that will help improve basketball and overall motor skills.”
The competition will be held at the Terry Vickerman Centre at the Casey Indoor Leisure Complex, 65 Berwick-Cranbourne Road, Cranbourne East.
Cost is $10 per game and participants are asked to bring appropriate leisure wear and sports shoes.
