THE countdown to Christmas began early for students of Cranbourne South Primary School, who spent the last week of school in a state of yuletide-inspired euphoria.
Christmas spirit was alive in every classroom, with festive decorations a lively reminder of the joy to come.
Excited students enjoyed a classroom party on Tuesday to conclude the year as they put the finishing touches on the Christmas gifts carefully made in class during the week.
