A SIGNED basketball has been stolen from a home in Pearcedale.
The owner was devastated at the loss of the ball – an encased basketball signed by Australian basketballer Andrew Gaze.
Police were suspicious about the theft as it was the only item targeted and there were no signs of forced entry.
The theft occurred between 7.20pm on Saturday and 12.30am on Sunday at the Larnach Road house.
The ball is valued at about $50.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the officer in charge at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0600.
