HAMPTON Park Primary School students went crazy for a day to raise money for Australian wildlife.
The Junior School Council put on a Crikey Hair Day last week to raise funds for Steve Irwin’s Wildlife Warriors.
Students dressed up with all sorts of psychedelic hairstyles and donated a gold coin to the fundraiser.
Student Gurleen said the Junior School Council decided to organise the event so they could help protect Australia’s wildlife.
Another student Hayden said the council managed to raise $198.85 on the day.
He said one student from each year level was also awarded a prize in the Crikey Hair Day most creative hair competition.
