Prime real estate bash

By Sarah Schwager
COUNCILLORS, identities and residents welcomed a new real estate office in Cranbourne last week.
Alex Scott Real Estate’s Cranbourne office was officially opened at a cocktail party on Friday, celebrating 120 years for the company.
It will be the 12th office in its network in south-east Melbourne, with other offices in Berwick, Pakenham and Lang Lang.
Alex Scott Cranbourne sales manager Rod Armstrong said the opening had been a great success with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony which included Casey mayor Kevin Bradford, councillor Lorraine Wreford, Cranbourne MP Jude Perera, local identities, Alex Scott directors and the general public.
Mr Armstrong said the office had been open for 11 weeks so far with a crew of seven, and had been very successful.
“The office has been on the drawing board since mid-last year,” he said.
“This will be the gateway office to South Gippsland to complement the rest of our fleet. We look forward to a successful future.”
The office is located at 117 High Street, Cranbourne.
