Oh, boy! Make his day

THE City of Casey is helping families spend more time together by holding a Mum and Son Day and a Boys’ Day Out.
The two events are designed to enable mothers and fathers of boys aged 11 to 16 an opportunity to take part in exciting and challenging activities with their sons.
The mums will get first dibs, on Saturday 8 October, while the Boys Day Out is on Saturday 19 November.
Casey’s manager of youth and community development Janette Green said that activities on the days will include low and high ropes courses, flying fox and other fun games.
“The City of Casey recognises that it’s often hard for parents to get quality time with their children,” Ms Green said. “Both of these days are an excellent chance for mums and dads to not only ‘bond’ with their sons, but also have fun with some physical activity. We hope that they take this opportunity to join in.”
The days, at Lyrebird Park, Yellingbo, are fully catered for and have transport provided. A small charge will apply.
Places are limited. To book a place or for more information, contact Racheal Persico on 9799 3710.
