I AM married with two adult children. I have resided in Cranbourne for 25 years and have seen many changes.
I am standing for council to give you, the residents, more of a say as to what is happening to our area.
If you elect me as your representative, I will push for improved community services, with better employment opportunities, clean and safer parks for our children and elderly, improved footpaths and local conveniences.
We need improved youth services and community awareness programs for Cranbourne’s future adults.
I will lobby for greater public transport to help families, young people and the elderly.
Mayfield Ward
AS half of the only husband and wife team running for council I believe it is time the council was concerned with family issues and the concerns of its ratepayers.
I will look after Cranbourne residents and protect their amenity. I will secure more railway station parking and better traffic flows around schools. If my husband is also elected I will work harmoniously with him (as we have during our 20plus years of marriage) to reduce the excessive rates that we pay. I commit to supporting full independence for Cranbourne.
After 11 years of amalgamation we still have no plan for a decent industrial estate to create future and ongoing jobs for Cranbourne’s youth.
I will work to return a movie cinema to Cranbourne, lost under the current councillor. I am opposed to continual rate rises, overseas junkets, lack of footpaths, small back yards and compulsory green waste bins and I commit to right these wrongs.
Balla Balla Ward
CASEY City, a large population growth area, lacks ‘local planning’ by locals for local needs of our communities.
Born and raised in Balla Balla Ward, Pearcedale, I returned from overseas.
I see the need for planned local development, local roads and community facilities for our youth.
