NEW dog boarding kennels are to open in Pearcedale.
Casey Council last week approved plans for the construction of a 40kennel facility on the corner of Vidotto Court and Smiths Lane.
The development will accommodate up to 60 dogs, with room for 40 separate runs and 22 grassed exercise yards.
The kennels are to be located in a brick compound and screened by trees to minimise noise and odours to neighbouring properties.
