A NEW aged-care facility in Junction Village was opened late last month.
Flinders MP Greg Hunt congratulated the organisers and builders of the Regis Sherwood Park Aged Care Facility.
“The Regis Sherwood Park project commenced in 2002 when the previous nursing home and hostel were combined to form one 70-place home,” Mr Hunt said.
“Since this time, places have been progressively added so that Regis Sherwood Park now has 97 high-care and 52 low-care aged-care places.”
Mr Hunt also congratulated the Regis Sherwood Park facility team on their hard work and commitment to the local community.
Regis Sherwood Park also provides dementia care.
It is located near the Cranbourne Botanic Gardens and has accommodation for singles, couples and people requiring respite care.
For more information on places available at the aged care facility, contact Regis Sherwood Park on 5996 7777.
