SCHOOL is cool at Cranbourne Primary.
The drag of the first few weeks back after holidays has been a little easier for students thanks to an exciting new orientation program.
School is Cool celebrates and welcomes the return of all students to the 2006 school year.
It is the first time the school has delivered the program, which highlights the values of self-esteem, confidence, team work, independence and getting along.
Teacher Michelle Donovan said the aim of the program was to develop a sense of connectedness to the school community, the class group and teachers.
She said the school ran a number of activities during the two-week program, including a visiting circus, musical entertainment from the Police Show Band, Life Be In It games and a barbecue.
