Expo plan blooms

THE City of Casey has announced an expo to link retailers with parents and parents-to-be.
The first Casey Pregnancy and Early Years Expo will be held at the Balla Balla Centre in Cranbourne East early next year.
Retailers and service providers in the industry are now being invited to register their interest.
Mayor Colin Butler said the expo would give parents and parents-to-be the opportunity to find the parenting information and product advice they need in their local community.
He said the concept came about following discussions between a local business person in the industry and the council’s retail centre coordinator.
“Major expos in Melbourne are costly for small businesses, whereas a council-run event will enable more Casey businesses to get involved and families won’t have to travel far from home to attend.”
For more information or an expression of interest form contact the City of Casey Business Development Unit on 9705 5200 or visit www.casey.vic.gov.au.
Forms must be received by 5pm on Friday 26 October and addressed to City of Casey Business Development Unit, PO Box 1000, Narre Warren 3805.
