Churches step out in harmony

RESIDENTS from all cultures and backgrounds will march through Cranbourne for the Good Friday Easter March next week.
Pastor Phil Cayzer of TurningPoint Family Church, and chairperson of the Cranbourne Christian Ministers’ Association, said churches today were not only of English descent but of many nations including Asian, African and Sri Lankan.
He said the Good Friday Easter March aimed to unite people in a collective celebration of the death and resurrectionof Jesus Christ.
The City of Casey and local police will also be involved and various local businesses are sponsoring the Easter March.
The march starts at Lamb Street at 11am and will consist of three stops, with a different religious presentation at each stop.
The march continues on to Clydesdale Square, and hot cross buns, tea and coffee will be given out at the final stop at Ray Perry Park.
