A SUSPICIOUS fire that swept through Morning Mist Reserve in Cranbourne South on Saturday afternoon has police appealing for public information.
The reserve was engulfed by the 30-metre blaze.
The fire brigade was called about 4pm and quickly contained the fire.
A subsequent search of the area revealed an accelerant had been used to fuel the fire. Anyone with information is urged to contact Sen Const Jeff Brennan at Cranbourne Police Station on 5991 0600.
