AN AUCTION and trivia night is being held on Saturday 19 April at the Amstel Golf Course in Cranbourne to raise funds for nine-year-old Dylan Hartung.
Dylan, from Skye, is undergoing medical treatment in New York after he was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer, back in 2004.
Dylan’s family had to sell their house, leave their jobs and relocate to the US to give him the best chance at life.
The Dylan Hartung Campaign manager Leanne Hicks said his disease was currently stable.
Dylan’s medical expenses are not covered by the health system in Australia and his family face medical bills of about $US620, 000.
The Dylan Hartung Campaign and the local community are joining forces to help one of their own by raising funds to support Dylan through this difficult time.
The evening kicks off at 7.30pm, with performances by local band Balderdash and several raffles and auctions of sports memorabilia.
The cost is $20 per head with finger food provided.
“All the community needs to bring along with them to the fundraiser is themselves and their wallets,” Ms Hicks said.
For further information or bookings please call the Dylan Hartung Campaign manager Leanne Hicks on 0402 006 487.
Trivia night a big event for Dylan
