TWO water tanks have been stolen from a house under construction in Cranbourne East.
The 1000-litre cream plastic tanks were taken from the garage of the Tyndall Streetproperty between 6pm on 29 October and 11am on 1 November.
Police said it appeared the thieves went prepared and may have been tradespeople.
The theft follows another incident in which a water tank was stolen from a Cranbourne South property mid-last month.
Between 9pm on 12 October and 8.30am on 13 October, a PVC tank was stolen from a residential place in Belvista Way.
The tank was described as round, 1.8 metres high by 1.8 metres wide, with a 4500-litre capacity.
It was valued at $1000.
Police said a truck would have been needed in the theft.
Anyone who might have seen something suspicious is urged to contact Detective Senior Constable Mark Wiederhold at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0661.
