FIRE twirling, sponge throwing and skating are three activities not often associated.
But the Cranbourne Salvation Army Church has managed to offer all three at its upcoming Kids’ Skate Club Carnival.
The annual event is targeted at primary school children and provides the perfect introduction to the holiday season.
Entertainment includes a jumping castle, face painting, displays by a professional skater, a silent auction, a barbecue, and various stalls.
Children will be supervised at all times and primary school age children only will be allowed to skate.
The carnival will be held at The Shed Skate Park and Recreational Park on Monday, 12 December.
The entry cost is $4 per person, or $10 for three kids and $2 for each child thereafter.
The Shed is at New Holland Drive, Cranbourne.
