Seagull fledglings take flight on field

TOORADIN Football Club is up and running in 2006 and kicked off its season at 10am on Saturday when its newly formed under-18 team hit the ground.
Club officials and coaches have worked hard to secure enough junior players to field a side after forfeiting the early games due to lack of numbers last year.
Under coach Tom Hallinan said the Seagull fledglings were competitive and despite going down to Cranbourne, helped make it a successful opening day to the local football season in front of a good-sized and happy crowd.
